2025 WASSCE EXAM TIMETABLE

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released the final 2025 WASSCE Timetable for Ghana. The timetable which covers elective, core and practical subjects to be written by final year school candidates in Ghana was last updated by WAEC in April 2025. In this post candidates can download the Final 2025 WASSCE Timetable for Ghana.

The examination will take 7 weeks to complete per the final timetable from WAEC.

All candidates will write the four core subjects in additon to four elective subjects. The first core subject to be administered will be English language on September 4th, 2025. The next will be Core Mathematics on 11th September, 2025. On 15th September, candidates will sit the Integrated Science paper while Social Studies will be the final core subject to be administered to candidaed. Below is a summary of the core subjects for candidates.

Candidates are to note that, the worse grade for admission into public universities as far as core subjects are concerned is C5. Students are to study very well and give maximum attention to their core subjects just as they do with elective subjects.

Candidates are to take note of the following:

Difference in Time on Question Paper and Timetable

Where the duration indicated on the question paper differs from that on the timetable, the one on the question paper should be followed.

Question Papers to be given out in advance of the dates they are to be taken.

General Knowledge-In-Art Paper 3: The question paper for General Knowledge-In-Art 3 will be given to candidates two weeks before the paper is due to be taken.

 

Project Work Papers: The question papers for project work for Basketry, Graphic Design, Leatherwork, Ceramics, Sculpture, Picture Making, Textiles, Jewellery, will be forwarded to candidates two weeks in advance of the examination. The exact date for the delivery of question papers to candidates will be communicated to them through their schools. Extra Time for Candidates with visual impairment and hearing impairment.

Visually impaired and hearing impaired candidates should be allowed one and half times the time allotted to other candidates.
