WAEC Alert: 2025 WASSCE Apor Leakage Registration Open, Fees Out
- Is WAEC aware that the 2025 WASSCE Apor Leakage Registration has started?
- What is WAEC doing about the leaking strategies of syndicates as they promise to leak all 2025 WASSCE questions and answers to candidates?
The Ghana-only West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates is at a high risk of being compromised by 2025 WASSCE Apor Leaking syndicates. The examination, which starts on August 4, 2025, for students in public and private senior high schools, is already being targeted by countless exam-leaking advertisements on social media, seemingly at the blind side of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
What Is the 2025 WASSCE Apor Leakage Registration Published by the Examination Leaking Syndicate?
The announcement of 2025 WASSCE Apor Questions Registration along with the fees is an indication that efforts by WAEC towards reducing and dealing with such activities have failed.
One of these exam-leaking syndicates has brazenly announced its fees for both elective and core subjects across its social media pages. While describing its yet-to-be-leaked papers as “verified exam papers,” the syndicate published the actual fees to be paid to access questions and answers.

Per reliable information from the WAEC exam tips portal, the fees are as follows:
- Fee For Each Subject: GHS 100
- Fee For All Subjects (Elective and Core): GHS 600
- Fee For Core Subjects Only: GHS 300
- Fee For Elective Subjects Only: GHS 350
To attract more clients, the advertisement promises to provide free “Oral English” and “WASSCE Practical” questions and answers to all registered students, along with access to exclusive learning materials. The syndicate disclosed that the leaked papers will only be sent privately to candidates and parents who pay.
The Dangers of 2025 WASSCE Apor Leakage Registration to WAEC’s Credibility
It is critical that WAEC does not sit aloof and do nothing about these and many similar adverts. Such persons and their activities will undermine the credibility of the examination.
Examination leakage at any level gives an undue advantage to students who get pre-access to questions meant for assessing all candidates. It also negatively affects the respect for WAEC and makes the institution look poorly managed. This 2025 WASSCE Apor Leakage needs to be halted by WAEC some way, somehow, to protect and preserve its credibility.

A Shared Responsibility: A Call to All Stakeholders
The fight against malpractice is not for WAEC alone.
Parents have a crucial role to play. They must talk to their children preparing for the 2025 WASSCE and advise them against engaging in any form of illegality that will derail their years of effort and preparation. The issue of student malpractice needs to be taken up seriously within the home.
Teachers and schools preparing candidates for the WASSCE must make a conscious effort to not only teach and prepare their candidates but also to enlighten them on the dangers of engaging in any form of cheating. Crucially, these schools must not engage in systemic, “grand-scheme” school cheating. Headmasters and mistresses must lead by example and not connive with WASSCE leaking syndicates or procure their services. If candidates are to follow the rules of the examination, they must have good examples to follow.
A Call for WAEC to Confront WASSCE Apor Leakage And WAEC’s Failure
WAEC must stop defending its old security measures. It is clear that these systems have outlived their usefulness and are no longer effective against modern syndicates. Instead of a defensive posture, WAEC needs to join forces with credible partners, such as education news portals that promote ethical examination preparation. This collaboration could help educate the public, gather valuable feedback, and present a united front in the fight against examination malpractices.

WAEC has, over the years, claimed in words that it has put measures in place to protect the credibility of its examinations. However, on a year-by-year basis, WAEC has seen an increase in examination malpractices and has been unable to stop groups like this 2025 WASSCE questions and answers leaking syndicate.
Students, parents, teachers, and schools also need to revisit the WAEC WASSCE examination rules and the implications if they are breached. This will serve as a constant reminder to all.
It is high time WAEC ate a humble pie when it comes to its inability and unpreparedness to fight examination malpractices.
