The identities of the two deceased pupils remain unknown. The victims’ bodies have been brought into police custody, and forensic specialists are examining the crime site for clues to solve the case.

The precise circumstances of the sad shooting incident remain unknown. However, others have claimed that there is a clear link to the continuing fighting in Bawku, Upper East Region.

The Ghana Police Service is now investigating the event and has yet to issue a public statement. The regrettable incident has also raised security worries within the institution.

The terrible occurrence occurred a few weeks after a female student was shot at a fire festival celebration in Bimbilla, Nanumba North Municipality of the Northern Region.

The Northern Region police are investigating the death of high school student Fatima Abukari at Bimbilla’s Fire Festival. Fatima Abukari, a SHS Two student, died after a stray bullet struck her during a procession from the regent Nyelimbolgu Naa Yakubu Andani II’s house to Wampu Dam, where the fire festival was held.
